Renovation advice / Property report
Key collection
Collect the keys from the homeowner or agent at the designated time and location; return the keys after completing the property inspection and setup.
Photography
Take interior and exterior photos and videos; inspect appliances and furniture; check the operation of water, electricity, and gas systems.
Measurement
Measure all interior doors, windows, and the dimensions and area of each room, and provide a floor plan marked with the locations of power switches and sockets.
Meter reading
On the handover day, check the water, electricity, and gas meter readings and take photos for record-keeping, to be used for future supplier transfers.
Renovation
Inspect the interior and exterior and provide full renovation recommendations for the entire property; supply photos or videos for documentation.
Bill setup
Register water, electricity, and gas accounts; notify the council of the address change; and submit a declaration for not using a TV receiver.
